The Revival (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson) is considered by many to be one of the best tag teams across the globe currently. The two made their debut for WWE NXT in 2014. While they had a great time on NXT, the same was not true after they were moved to the main roster.
The Revival won three Tag Team titles on RAW and SmackDown combined. But, they were clearly not happy with their booking and the overall state of the tag team division in WWE. The year 2020 was especially bad for them in WWE as they wrestled a total of 13 matches, losing all of them.

In April 2020, both of them were released from their WWE contracts. They appeared on Chris Jericho's podcast in May and openly vented their frustration in WWE. Later that month, they made their debut in All Elite Wrestling under the ring name FTR. Contrary to their booking in WWE, FTR has won seven out of their nine matches for AEW so far.
