#1 Asuka
If this article was written before Extremes Rules, she would have definitely not made this list. But surprisingly, she is part of it now. Asuka had a dream run initially when she first came to Raw. In her first 3 months, she defeated wrestlers like Dana Brooke, Alicia Fox and then Raw Women's champion, Alexa Bliss in a non-title match with ease.
She even won the first women's Royal Rumble in January 2018. Even though she lost the match against Charlotte Flair in Wrestlemania 34, the match itself was brilliant and well choreographed.
But, she has not been the same after that. With her streak, she also lost all her momentum. Like Bobby Roode, she is another wrestler who is suffering because of the superstar shake-up. They were one of the top wrestlers in their respective brands but are finding it hard to mark their territory in other shows. Even Carmella defeated her twice in a row.
After losing to Carmella in Extremes Rules, Asuka has just disappeared from TV. She is not even seen in any of the backstage segments either. The Smackdown writers are currently focusing on the story between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, but even then, Asuka is too good a wrestler to be kept away from the show for this long.
