Sami Zayn continued his feud with Chad Gable and came to the aid of Otis, who was bullied once again by the leader of The Alpha Academy. Gable blamed Otis for his interference in the Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Championship at the King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event, where Gable missed the chance to win the title.
As the feud between the two superstars continues, Otis has to take advantage of it, if he wants to have a title opportunity for the first time in so many months.
Otis has to turn on Chad Gable to continue the storyline
Female superstar says she inspired John Cena turning heel HERE
Ever since he had a heel turn, Chad Gable has become a bully, especially towards the members of The Alpha Academy. Still, we have seen Otis helping Gable against Sami Zayn and Big Bronson Reed.
This has to change, though, for the storyline to move forward, so attacking Chad Gable and starting a feud with him looks like the most reasonable scenario based on what we have seen so far.
It has been a while since Otis last had a title opportunity in WWE
Turning on Chad Chable would help Otis not only continue the storyline, but emerge as a contender to Sami Zayn's Intercontinental Championship.
Otis has usually been a mid- to low-card name in WWE and it has been a while since he had a title chance in singles competition. With that in mind, should he assault his boss at The Alpha Academy, he will make a statement and we should expect him to pursue a shot at the Intercontinental Championship.
Sami Zayn will be protected in a feud with Otis
Sami Zayn is one of the top babyfaces in WWE and we don't expect him to lose his title so soon after becoming the IC champion at WrestleMania 40.
Thus, a feud with Otis would help both superstars, as the latter would get back to the title picture after so much time, while the former would be protected heading into a clash with another top athlete in the coming Premium Live Events, like Money in the Bank or Summerslam.
