The WWE Universe was given a shock last night, as many were not expecting to see Jade Cargill get brutally assaulted on SmackDown. Sprawled on top of a car with a large gash below her eye, the 32-year-old seemed lifeless. Her injuries were so great, that her tag team partner Bianca Belair abandoned a potential US Title shot to go with her to the hospital. But, the question remains, who was her attacker?

While there are a lot of theories, there is a chance that it is a 35-year-old star that the WWE Universe is very familiar with. One, that has never been a heel ever since making the move up to the main roster from NXT. That star is none other than the very one who rushed to Jade Cargill's aid: Bianca Belair.

Now, the first question is why? Well, it's rather simple. Both Belair and Cargill have been touted as two of the strongest women in WWE. This is a fact, but Belair might want to prove otherwise. She may have attacked The Storm in order to establish herself as the one and only EST in the company. It certainly is a possibility, especially considering there has been some tension, although minuscule, between the two.

Top WWE star blasted, compared to Winnie the Pooh RIGHT HERE

That said, some may be wondering, why would she abandon a US Title opportunity. Assuming she is turning heel, a secondary title won't matter much to Belair. What's more, abandoning the match is the perfect way for her to feign concern and shift suspicion away from herself. If she is indeed the attacker, it is a well-thought-out plan, but at this point, is nothing more than speculation.

Liv Morgan has already warned Jade Cargill about Bianca Belair

Whether or not Bianca Belair is behind this attack remains to be seen. But something to take note of is that Jade Cargill has already been warned about The EST's potential for betrayal. The irony is that one of her upcoming opponents at Survivor Series: WarGames, Liv Morgan warned her.

On the RAW after Crown Jewel, Morgan was interrupted by Belair and Cargill. Upset by it, and looking to get under their skin, the Women's World Champion warned Jade that Bianca could eventually stab her in the back. Of course, this didn't sit well with the Women's Tag Team Champions, and a brawl ensued.

It would be quite something if the self-proclaimed homewrecking, man-stealing, heartbreaking, title-taking, greatest Women's World Champion of all time were right about this one. She certainly wouldn't let either Jade Cargill or Bianca Belair live this down.
