Chad Gable is scheduled for a major Triple-Threat Match next week on WWE RAW, but he became one of the targets during Uncle Howdy's arrival on the red brand last week. Due to this, he may not be able to compete, but another well-known name could replace him.
Chad Gable has been having a tough time lately. He once again lost a chance to become the Intercontinental Champion this past weekend at Clash at the Castle: Scotland and then on RAW, Alpha Academy turned their backs on him. To add fuel to the fire, he was also seen unconscious backstage after being attacked by Wyatt Sicks.
Due to this, it is still unknown what his status is, for next week's Triple-Threat Match against Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman for a Money in the Bank qualifying spot. In case Gable is unable to participate, then TNA star Joe Hendry could replace the leader of the Alpha Academy.
On this week's NXT episode, Hendry was among the TNA stars who appeared on the brand. He competed in the Battle Royal to determine the number one contender for the brand's premier championship. Much to the fans and the star's dismay, he was eliminated first. However, he may have also hinted about returning soon.

The 36-year-old's name is well-known beyond TNA and although he has never been part of the Stamford-based company, many from the WWE Universe know him and his entrance theme song. It's possible that his appearance on NXT was to test how fans would react to him, which was with a loud ovation.
After being eliminated, he said he would be ready "anywhere, any show, any place." This could indicate he would be present for another WWE shows, especially after his cameo last week. Seeing how fans cheered him on, it's possible that the Stamford-based promotion could invite him again, this time on the red brand.
How does Chad Gable's opponent feel about the recent attacks on WWE RAW?
Many fans expressed concern and worry about Chad Gable after seeing his state on this week's episode of RAW. However, one star who seemed to be happy about what happened was Bronson Reed.
The Australian was one of the lucky ones who was spared from the backstage massacre, with even Braun Strowman seemingly part of the victims of the Wyatt Sicks. Owing to this, Reed asked Adam Pearce if that meant he won the match by default as his rivals might not be alive.
It would be interesting to see what will happen to Chad Gable in the upcoming edition of the red brand, and also when the WWE Universe could see Joe Hendry again.
