#1 He could be an anti-hero
Seth Rollins has done an amazing job as the face of Monday Night RAW. He’s also been one of the best heels of WWE in recent years. If he plays both characters so well, why shouldn’t WWE turn him into an anti-hero? He’s been acting like one for a few weeks now. He insulted the RAW roster two weeks ago and then acted more like a face this week. What is Rollins trying to prove?

If we look at things from a different perspective, WWE’s plans could be to use Rollins as an anti-hero. This way, he won’t lose his heroic attributes and at the same time, he’ll be able to villainous things when the time is right or the sitution presents itself. He'll do anything to win, even if he may have to occasionally do something under-handed to achieve victory.
Things could prove to be good for Rollins’ character if he goes in this direction, and it’ll allow him to try new things as well without worrying about whether he's a good guy or a bad guy. He’s already mastered both types of characters, so working as an anti-hero wouldn’t likely be difficult for him to pull off.
