After delivering a pretty average episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE returned to the frame to advance the proceedings for the Elimination Chamber with another solid episode of SmackDown Live.

The show started with Charlotte Flair mocking Becky Lynch's recent suspension and vowed to lock horns with the Rowdy One at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Moreover, Becky Lynch's intervention coerced Triple H to take the matter in his own hands in what eventually became a heated confrontation between the Game and the Irish Lass Kicker.

The Blue Brand was successful in presenting storylines that demanded the fans' attention whilst delivering some quality in-ring matches in the process.

Naomi and Carmella are the recently aligned team that would be entering the barbaric Elimination Chamber for a shot at the historical Women's Tag-Team Championships.

Whether it was Nakamura's chemistry with Rusev or 'The New' Daniel Bryan's mockery of Vince McMahon's billion dollar company, SmackDown Live delivered a fine blend of wrestling and entertainment tonight.

#1 Nobody will be ready for Asuka at the Elimination Chamber

Asuka may not be defending her title at Elimination Chamber

Asuka has played an influential role in propelling the women's division to a different stratosphere when she dominated the entire scene under Triple H's visionary supervision.

With Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch still pushing for the same spot at the Show of Shows, this leaves the creative team with no legitimate competitor for the Empress of Tomorrow.

Moreover, half of the female talent on the blue brand will be heavily involved in the First-Ever Women's Tag-Team Championship match which is scheduled to happen inside the barbaric Elimination Chamber.

While the company are certainly presenting the SmackDown Women's Champion as a big deal, the lack of opponents on the blue brand could see the Empress of Tomorrow not defending her gold at WWE's next PPV, Elimination Chamber.

#2 Stephanie McMahon or Triple H could be the Special Guest Referee for the RAW Women's Championship match at WrestleMania

This will be interesting

After Becky Lynch attacked Stephanie McMahon on Monday Night Raw and was suspended prior to the savage ambush, a lot of us expected the Relentless One to return after the Elimination Chamber.

However, The Man showed up on the blue brand tonight and shared a very heated confrontation with Triple H. The Cerebral Assassin certainly wasted no time in getting inside Becky's nerves and was successful in portraying the former SmackDown Women's Champion as the ultimate underdog in this feud.

While Triple H certainly displayed shades of a heel tonight, Becky slapping the Game could coerce the Authority to insert themselves into the feud and make it more compelling.

If Daniel Bryan's journey to WrestleMania 30 is any indication, then we might certainly see the Authority doing everything they can to stop Becky from headlining the Grandest Stage of Them All in New Jersey.

A possibility of seeing either Triple H or Stephanie McMahon as the Special Guest Referee would add more intrigue and drama to an already established main event feud.

#3 AJ Styles could be locking horns with Jeff Hardy next week

Another solid in-ring bout?

If heated backstage altercations are anything to take into consideration, then we could very well see AJ Styles go one-on-one with Jeff Hardy for the first time in a WWE ring.

The Phenomenal One interrupted Jeff Hardy's ongoing backstage interview and questioned his legacy which led to the Charismatic Enigma wanting to prove his worth to the former WWE Champion inside the barbaric Elimination Chamber.

Since six competitors will be slugging it out to win the WWE Championship, the creative team have presented some fine in-ring matches to give us a good little preview of the event.

AJ Styles Vs. Jeff Hardy could be an incredible bout to close SmackDown Live next week, with both the competitors displaying their versatility to the WWE Universe.

It's an incredible time to be a wrestling fan and anyone who has seen these two slug it out before knows that next week could be something special.

#4 Rusev and Lana will gradually turn Shinsuke Nakamura into a babyface

Despite being one of the biggest names in the world of professional wrestling, WWE are yet to realize the Superstar they have in Shinsuke Nakamura.

The King of Strong Style remains a very underutilized star on the blue brand, with his ongoing feud with Rusev now gradually turning them to fight for each other's backs.

The duo teamed up to lock horns with the Good Brothers tonight and while they were successful in outshining the latter team, there could be more to the story than meets the eye.

When they were interviewed backstage about their potential future, Lana openly expressed Rusev's willingness to speak Japanese and Nakamura's willingness to speak Bulgarian.

Since these two have been aligned in a feud since a long, long time, this could be an ideal way to bring more focus on the two, with the Bulgarian Brute and Lana playing a significant role in gradually turning the former NXT Champion into a babyface.
