#1 Becky Lynch will remain the Smackdown Women's Champion

Becky Lynch is on the run of her life, stealing the show every single week as the Smackdown Women's Champion. She has been a consistent highlight on the Blue brand ever since turning heel on Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam. It is refreshing to see a previously underutilized talent being given the ball to run and succeeding in it. This is how stars are made. The Irish Lass Kicker will defend her title against Charlotte at Evolution, in a potentially feud-closing Last Woman Standing match.

These two will surely steal the show, or at least come very close in doing so, with the stipulation in place. The rivalry has flown at a fantastic pace, with their latest segment on Smackdown being a pre-recorded brawl at the Performance Center. Becky is incredibly over and having earned all of her success, she should continue to lead the Smackdown women's division. However, there have been reports of her working with an injured jaw. This should ideally not deter the momentum she has earned so far. While it might be a safe choice to put the belt on Charlotte, Becky's run needs to continue.

Provided her injury is not that bad, the Irish Lass Kicker will likely retain her title after a hellacious and brutal encounter, one that should define the rise of Becky Lynch. The Queen would not have to look weak, as she will not be pinned. WWE has all the reasons to keep the title on the Champ and they need to do it. With Charlotte expected to face Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania, she doesn't even need to hold the Smackdown title. After this, we could build to a tasty dream match between Becky and Asuka. There is a lot of potential in the women's division now, WWE just needs to utilize it correctly.
