Back at Super Show-Down, the WWE Universe witnessed the set up of what was supposed to be Shawn Michaels triumphant return to the ring, but instead, it appears that the match failed to live up to much of the hype that first surrounded it. There were botches all the way through as Triple H delivered a Pedigree to The Undertaker that didn't quite work, Shawn Michaels had a few issues on the top turnbuckle and then he delivered a moonsault that didn't fully connect on his way down.
This was a nostalgic match which is exactly what Saudi Arabia asked for when Crown Jewel came their way, but it isn't a match that belongs on a WWE pay-per-view. Triple H and Shawn Michaels picked up the win, but it is unknown what this means for Michaels in-ring future.
