The Brothers of Destruction main evented Crown Jewel in their match against D-Generation X but it didn't go to plan. It was a match that was billed as four of the biggest legends in the company rolling back the years, but this wasn't the case.

There were a number of botches throughout the match as explained in this article, but the most noticeable was when Shawn Michaels tried to fight Kane off the top rope and punched him so hard in the face that his mask fell off. This is a botch that the WWE Universe has been talking about ever since it aired and it saw Kane continue his spots on the outside whilst the referee attempted to hand him back his mask, which proved that it wasn't actually supposed to happen.
