Kevin Owens made his WWE debut right before 2014 ended. Owens arrived in NXT and on his first night, he took out his real-life best friend, Sami Zayn, after Zayn had just won the NXT Championship. Owens then had a successful run in NXT as a monster heel, and even got called up to the main roster while he was the NXT Champion.

Owens kicked off his main roster career with a bang, and his feud with John Cena was one of the best feuds of 2015. It wasn't long before the WWE Universe started anticipating a dream match between Owens and Lesnar.

Although Owens' main roster run didn't turn out to be how his fans were expecting it to, he was once considered Brock Lesnar's successor as a violent beast who enjoys decimating his opponents. That didn't happen unfortunately.

However, a Brock Lesnar vs. Kevin Owens match still happened at a WWE Live Event on March 17th, 2017. Owens got some offence early on before Lesnar turned things around to win the match in around 2 minutes.
