Sheamus, like Brock Lesnar, was given a monster push immediately after making his main roster debut in the Summer of 2009. Within months of his debut, he moved to Raw from ECW and became the WWE Champion before the year ended.

Sheamus defeated John Cena clean in a Tables match to become the first-ever Irish born WWE Champion. Sheamus has had a decorated career in WWE. Except for winning the Intercontinental Championship, there's hardly anything that the Celtic Warrior hasn't accomplished yet.

When Brock Lesnar returned in 2012, Sheamus was the World Heavyweight Champion and in the middle of his career's biggest push. A dream match between two of the best brawlers in WWE was suggested by various members of the WWE Universe, but the two were kept far away from each other. They eventually ended up battling each other at a live event on September 30th, 2017.

The match, which was for the Universal Championship, lasted nearly 7 minutes and both Superstars got their share of the offence before Lesnar won the match to retain his title.
