Seth Rollins, who turned 38 on May 28, is arguably one of the best wrestlers on the WWE roster, if not the best. Since his debut on the main roster, Rollins has constantly evolved and helped the company grow. A perfect example of this was seen when Rollins won the World Heavyweight Championship.
Despite Roman Reigns having a 1,000+ day reign as champion on SmackDown, Rollins was able to carry the World Heavyweight Championship and make it an extremely important title on the main roster. However, while Rollins has done great work for WWE, he also delivered many impactful matches that fans can enjoy.
In this article, we will look at four Seth Rollins matches a WWE fan cannot afford to miss.

#4. Seth Rollins vs. Cody Rhodes (WWE Hell in a Cell 2022)
When Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes faced each other at Hell in a Cell in 2022, the focus of this match was on The American Nightmare. The reason behind this was Rhodes agreeing to fight Rollins despite tearing his pectoral muscle on RAW a couple of days before Hell in a Cell.
While Rhodes' toughness should not be understated, Rollins deserves a lot of credit for working with a superstar who was not 100 percent. In professional wrestling, it's easy to look good. However, what's difficult is to make your opponent look even better.
At Hell in a Cell 2022, The Visionary did exactly that and lost to Cody Rhodes for the third time. This selfless act by Rollins indeed contributed to Rhodes becoming the babyface he is today.
#3. Seth Rollins vs. Edge (Crown Jewel 2021)
When Seth Rollins became a household name in WWE, many people wondered how a match between him and Edge would go down. But, the possibility of this match happening always seemed bleak due to The Rated-R Superstar's retirement from in-ring competition in 2011.
However, in 2020, when Edge made a return to wrestling at the Royal Rumble, fans began rallying behind a match between him and Rollins. A year later, in 2021, that's exactly what they got. Edge and Rollins faced each other on two occasions, and they both won one match each.
Later, a Hell in a Cell match between them was booked for WWE Crown Jewel in 2021. Even though Rollins went on to lose this match, he put up a brilliant performance against a veteran like Edge. Rollins' performance in this match will go down as one of his best ever.
#2. Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena vs. Seth Rollins (WWE Royal Rumble 2015)
When Seth Rollins faced Brock Lesnar and John Cena at WWE Royal Rumble 2015, it was only three years since Rollins made his debut on the main roster. While he did have tons of wrestling experience, the fact that he shared the ring with such big names spoke highly about WWE's faith in him.
Rollins repaid this faith the promotion showed by delivering a brilliant performance. While Lesnar was his usual self inside the squared circle, Cena also acted the same way. It was Rollins who took plenty of risks to enhance this match and entertain the fans.
Therefore, even though The Architect ended up losing the bout, he gained a lot of respect from WWE fans. This match between the three men was also one of the best triple-threat matches in recent history.
#1. Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes vs. The Rock and Roman Reigns (WWE WrestleMania 40)
Seth Rollins' performance at WrestleMania 40 is arguably one of the most selfless acts in WWE history, if not the most. On wrestling's grandest stage, Rollins helped Cody Rhodes, a man he lost to thrice, face The Rock and Roman Reigns. This match took place in the main event of Night 1 of WrestleMania 40.
Despite putting up a brave battle against The Rock and Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes ended up losing. However, Rollins and Rhodes were definitely able to cause some damage to Reigns, which might have benefited Cody Rhoes in beating Roman Reigns on Night 2.
This act is selfless because Rollins was so engrossed in helping The American Nightmare that he lost his World Heavyweight Championship to Drew McIntyre. But, The Visionary never complained and once again came to help Rhodes on Night 2 when The Rock interfered to help Roman Reigns.
While Rollins lost in all the mentioned matches in this article, the result was never the criteria. In wrestling, the storytelling and the impact on the audience play a bigger role than just winning. And when it comes to these factors, the four Seth Rollins matches mentioned in the article are bouts you can't miss.
