Wrestling became a family business for many, especially in WWE. Several superstars at the moment have followed in the footsteps of their parents or even grandparents into joining the sport, but some obviously opted not to get involved at all.

Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Charlotte Flair, Bron Breakker, Randy Orton, Natalya, and more are just some of the current WWE Superstars who followed their families into the wrestling business. Despite this connection, they have all proven to be capable performers and have created their names in the history books. Many sons and daughters utilize their connection with the sport, but some names choose a different route instead.

For this list, we will look at the children of four WWE legends who aren't interested in wrestling:

#4. A McMahon won't be joining WWE anytime soon

One of history's most powerful and well-known wrestling dynasties is arguably the McMahons. Vince McMahon Sr. founded what ultimately became known as WWE today after his son Vince McMahon Jr. bought over his business. The latter's children, Stephanie and Shane got involved on and off the screen, like their mother Linda. However, it looks like one of Shane's children is looking at a different sport.

Declan is Shane's oldest child and gained popularity as a college football player for Indiana Hoosiers as a Running Back. While he expressed interest in joining the company and never ruled out the option of joining the "family business," he is more focused on football and aims to play for the NFL when the time comes.

#3. Aalyah Mysterio's WWE appearance won't include any in-ring performance

Wrestling fans or not, many know who Rey Mysterio is, and those who follow the sport know that his son, Dominik Mysterio, is doing an amazing job as a heel in the Stamford-based promotion. However, another child of Rey who fans may be familiar with is Aalyah.

Aalyah participated in some of the storylines involving her father and brother in 2020 and some appearances en route to WrestleMania 39. Despite her involvement in the sport, the Hall of Famer revealed that his daughter was more focused on her education and was pursuing a medical career.

#2. Gage Goldberg has made several appearances on WWE television

Goldberg is one of the most feared and dominant wrestling legends in history, because of his strength, physique, and attitude. He has shown time and time again that he has a soft spot for his son Gage who also appeared several times with his father on WWE television. However, a future in wrestling is not in Gage's mind for now.

Like Declan, Gage is a football player and plays as an Inside Linebacker for the Colorado Buffaloes. While talking to Bill Apter recently Gage shared that he was currently focused on football but was open to a future in wrestling.

#1. AJ Styles' son is interested in another sport

AJ Styles is one of the legends of the sport who is reportedly close to hanging up his boots. He has left a legacy in wrestling that won't be forgotten, and it seems like his son will create one in a different sport.

Styles' oldest son, Ajay Covell Jones, is 19 and the eldest of four. As per The Phenomenal One himself, his son is focused on baseball and is currently committed to Kennesaw State University. However, the veteran shared that if his children ever asked for his help to train them for wrestling he wouldn't mind doing so.
