At the time, this was one of the most important matches in WWE history, and it was a match that the crowd was extremely hot for. However, this was one of the most awful matches in WWE history, and if you ask me, it's probably the worst WrestleMania main event of all-time.

Sure, nobody expected a technical masterpiece when these two were matched up, but this under-delivered, even by the standards of the time.

The match basically featured both men putting each other in chin locks, or doing a test of strength with one another. When the match did begin to pick up a little bit, it just featured both men no-selling and hulking up. Then, to top it all off, the finish was horrible, and Hogan's completely disingenuous endorsement of Warrior pretty much killed the latter's big win.

Hogan vs. Warrior at WrestleMania 6 will always be remembered as a classic, even though it resembles their completely horrendous rematch at Halloween Havoc, aside from the botched fireball spot.
