Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley's ongoing feud will hopefully end at the WWE RAW premiere on Netflix. Their story has been built on a few years of moments but has been ongoing since May of this year.

Morgan began her revenge tour in earnest by injuring Mami. It forced The Eradicator to relinquish the Women's World title. The two stars have battled since then, competing at a few PLEs and in WarGames.

Ripley gets her shot to win back the title on January 6th. This and many other WWE feuds must finally end for one reason or another. The next four angles need to be concluded.

#4. American Made vs. Alpha Academy

One feud that’s been going on for almost all of 2024 is Chad Gable versus Alpha Academy. Gable turned on his teammates at the start of the summer and formed American Made with the Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile.

Following a triumph over his former squad, Gable pivoted to a feud with the Wyatt Sicks. The newly formed group fell to Uncle Howdy and then bounced around before challenging Cody Rhodes a few weeks ago on SmackDown.

When he returned to RAW, the first group American Made confronted was Alpha Academy. Neither group gains much by revisiting the feud, so it needs to end. If one faction had already moved up the ranks, it would have made more sense, but that hasn’t happened.

#3. Michael Cole vs. his perceived reality in WWE

WWE has always had its commentators essentially dictate the narrative around its feuds. They want the good guys to get cheered and the bad guys to get booed. In a day where fans are smarter than ever, things aren't always so black and white.

Heroes do bad things from time to time, like Cody Rhodes using a chair to beat Kevin Owens at Saturday Night's Main Event. Villains have logical reasoning for some of their actions as well. Michael Cole has leaned way too heavily into layers only being black or white.

It hurts the storylines when he's overly invested, like with Owens. The veteran announcer selectively forgets four years of torment at the hands of Roman Reigns and the Bloodline. He claims Owens has no rightful reason to be upset. Cole does the same thing with Drew McIntyre.

The Scottish Warrior despises the OG Bloodline for costing him a chance to win the Undisputed title in front of his family at Clash at the Castle two years ago. More consistency from WWE's main mouthpiece would be nice, especially when everyone is supposed to express their feelings in today's atmosphere.

#2. Austin Theory needs to wake up

It’s not so much of a feud for Austin Theory and Grayson Waller, but the duo needs to break up. The former US Champ was clearly heading for a face turn after the team lost the WWE Tag Team titles in early summer.

Waller kept throwing him into the line of fire. Opponents even pointed this out to Theory, yet he remained loyal to Waller. They haven’t been on TV much lately due to other WWE feuds taking precedence.

The duo recently returned and hosted Braun Strowman on the Grayson Waller Effect. Theory added his name to the show's title but Waller didn’t seem enthused about it.

Keeping the two together makes Theory look extremely dumb when his teammate clearly cares more about making himself look good. It is a part of his character, but WWE should have resolved the issue months ago.

#1. Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor has gone on long enough

Like Morgan and Ripley, Damian Priest and Finn Balor have been feuding for much of the second half of 2024. Ripley promised to end her feud with Morgan at the premiere of RAW on Netflix.

It still feels like Balor and Damian Priest will be battling for months to come. Balor first cost Priest the World Heavyweight title at SummerSlam and then again in another singles match.

Both stars challenged Gunther at Saturday Night's Main Event but fell short. Priest then prevented the Judgment Day from cheating to retain the tag titles against the War Raiders.

While it’s helped both men’s profiles and made Priest a top-level babyface, their rivalry needs to end so they can both move on to other ventures.
