Unlike the WWE Universe, Seth Rollins probably hated seeing CM Punk aid Roman Reigns on SmackDown. That could lead to interesting developments in The Architect's story moving forward.
Since the start of 2024, Seth Rollins and CM Punk have been struggling to keep their mutual animosity aside. Even during The Second City Saint's acclaimed feud with Drew McIntyre, The Visionary kept inserting himself into it. So, even though it might not be the case, Rollins might have perceived CM Punk's recent return as a dig at him.
That said, here are four likely directions for Seth Rollins as WWE inches closer to the Road to WrestleMania 41.
#4. Call out the OG Bloodline and/or CM Punk on RAW
Coming out of WWE SmackDown, fans' sole, unwavering interest seems to be in Survivor Series: WarGames. That doesn't change the fact that there's a go-home edition of RAW still on the horizon.

On that episode, Seth Rollins could call out the OG Bloodline, since he's on good terms with Sami Zayn and Jey Uso. Rollins might blame his WarGames teammates from last year for including CM Punk to spite him after he repeatedly rejected their offer to join them.
On top of that, if the Best in the World happens to be in the building, Rollins could have a scathing conversation with him. In that potential promo, the 2019 Royal Rumble winner could allude to Punk's 'hypocrisy' by calling him out for teaming up with Roman Reigns despite there being a sour history between them.
#3. Interfere in the Men's WarGames match to solve three problems at once
It's now confirmed that Seth Rollins won't be burying his hatchet with Roman Reigns just to get even with the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline. But that might not stop him from making his presence felt during the star-studded 10-man match next week.
There are several reasons that would justify The Visionary's involvement in the Men's WarGames match. For starters, he could get his revenge on Bronson Reed by costing him what has to be among his biggest matches in WWE so far. Next, he could get his lick back at Solo Sikoa for helping Reed defeat him on RAW.
On top of that, Rollins' possible interference in the aforementioned match could be the next round in his mental warfare with CM Punk. By making it seem as though Punk alone wasn't enough of a help to the OG Bloodline, he could keep pushing his case that today's WWE doesn't need The Voice of the Voiceless.
#2. Turn heel and force CM Punk to miss WrestleMania for the second year in a row
Main-eventing WrestleMania has been a dream for CM Punk since his first WWE run. Unfortunately for him, Seth Rollins is aware of that too.
Interestingly, The Architect and the two-time Mr. Money in the Bank were rumored to main event Night 1 of WrestleMania XL. However, CM Punk ended up getting injured at Royal Rumble, and he had to attend The Show of Shows in a non-wrestling capacity. That said, the budding rivalry between Rollins and Punk is something that fans are still deeply interested in. So, their eventual bout could easily warrant a main-event spot at the upcoming WrestleMania.
But the Best in the World could soon see his dream getting crushed for the second year in a row. Seth Rollins' response to CM Punk joining forces with the OG Bloodline could be to turn heel and launch such a heinous attack on the Chicago native in the near future that he gets taken off TV on the Road to WrestleMania 41.
#1. Jump CM Punk in line and start a Seth Rollins vs. Gunther feud for the World Heavyweight Championship
Since Bash in Berlin 2024, The Second City Saint has been expressing his desire to challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. If Seth Rollins plays his cards right, Punk's title pursuit could once again end up on the back burner in the aftermath of Survivor Series.
Earlier this year, when The Visionary was the World Champion, Gunther confronted him. Rollins was very receptive to the idea of facing The Ring General at The Show of Shows. Even though Gunther's Royal Rumble loss delayed his championship aspirations, he still might have respect for the former champion for being willing to fight him while dealing with injuries.
Therefore, Seth Rollins could capitalize on the aforementioned interaction with the current World Champion and be his next challenger, should he retain against Damian Priest. Such a move would help The Kingslayer make Punk's long-standing goal more elusive.
