Rey Mysterio has spent his entire WWE career as a Face.
#2 The Miz (Didn't Work)

It's hard to imagine The Miz as a fan favorite.
The Miz is one of the best heels of the modern era of Professional Wrestling. Everything about The Miz screams. "JERK", but in a good way. The Miz has been with WWE for over a decade and has undergone several character changes but the cocky heel attitude he adopted after splitting from John Morrison in 2009 has been the best work of his career. He even went on to win the WWE Championship in 2010 and feature in the main event of Wrestlemania 27.

The Miz is a natural heel. Still, a decision was made to turn him face in 2012. Although the turn was well received, he soon became stale. It's hard to imagine The Miz playing by the rules but that happened in 2012. The Miz flopped as a babyface and turned heel a year later. Since 2016, The Miz has been a part of countless incredible rivalries and has recently started to receive favorable reactions from the crowd. Let's just hope that WWE doesn't turn him face again.based on the favorable reactions.

Ali Siddiqui
Ali Siddiqui is a listicle and feature writer for Sportskeeda Wrestling since 2018. After completing his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, he decided to write for Sportskeeda Wrestling after learning about it through a friend. He briefly worked for The Sportster as well.
Ali's love for pro wrestling dates back to when Randy Orton won a Battle Royal to become the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam 2004. His current favorite wrestler is Cody Rhodes because he's the ultimate throwback babyface. He believes Rhodes has the Surfer Sting's passion, Bret Hart's prop-gifting schtick, a catchy theme like Hogan's, and a kid-friendly demeanor akin to John Cena's.
When he is not doing research for his articles on Google or catching up with the latest in pro wrestling, Ali can be found honing his Data Science and AI skills as he strives to get back into tech in the near future.
