AJ Styles has been WWE Champion since last year and it seems like he's going to keep it for a while. That's been made obvious as WWE seems to not want him to lose it to Nakamura.
So, instead of having the same thing over and over again with Nakamura, WWE should move on. There are plenty of people that would be great opponents for Styles going forward.
Let's take a look at a few feuds WWE should put together for Styles going forward.
#1 Andrade 'Cien' Almas
Almas has been advertised to debut on SmackDown the last few weeks and he's finally going to show up, maybe. WWE could troll us again and not have him show up.
If he does show up, then setting up a feud between him and Styles would be a great start to his main roster career. Zelina Vega would be a big help distracting Styles and trash talking to him.
Styles would most likely win this feud, but it would be nice to see something different than the constant Styles and Nakamura feud that goes nowhere.
#2 The Miz
The Miz has proven that he is the king of the mid-carders. He brought the Intercontinental championship to new heights than it has been in a while. Now that he's on SmackDown and without a title, have him go after something else.
Miz is already a fantastic talker as he can back himself up well during this feud. If you thought Rollins vs the Miz at Backlash was good, I'm sure Miz and Styles can be even better.
It is something fresh for both men. The Miz hasn't been in the main event scene in so long and the Styles/Nakamura feud isn't really going anywhere. So, let's see if this would work.
#3 Samoa Joe
Samoa Joe vs Styles is a great match WWE should consider sometime down the line. WWE have already hinted at it when Joe cut a promo saying that he was going to beat Styles at some point. Now is a great time to do it.
Their matches were great to watch in TNA and we are sure they can still go today. Joe can do a great job getting into the head of Styles. Breaking him down mentally and then physically.
Joe would be a great choice to take the title away from Styles. Hopefully, this feud does happen and fast!
#4 Daniel Bryan
If you want to talk about a dream match waiting to happen, then look no further than Daniel Bryan vs Styles. Now, this match did happen on SmackDown a few weeks ago, but that was interrupted by Nakamura to keep that feuding going.
This would be a great babyface match-up as both men are over with the crowd. This could be a perfect opportunity for WWE to turn Styles heel since it's been a while since that's happened.
Either way, putting these two on last for any PPV will make it a great watch even if the rest wasn't.
