WWE recently confirmed that Dean Ambrose won't be signing with the company once his contract expires in April 2019.

Dean Ambrose's current status with the company has drawn varied reactions from fans and pundits. After rumors of Dean Ambrose leaving the company started floating around, WWE shockingly confirmed the same. This was one of those rare instances where WWE announced the news of a Superstar leaving without it being officially done. Hence, there have been various claims as to why this might be a work.

Even if the Lunatic's Fringe departure is legitimate, WWE might have a solid reason for letting him go. Ambrose neither has the size of Roman Reigns nor the technical prowess of Seth Rollins. Unlike the other two, Ambrose has struggled to deliver in the ring on a consistent basis. His mic skills are indeed what sets him apart from others but he isn't exactly as good as Roddy Piper or Stone Cold Steve Austin. Ambrose brings very little to the table and thus, is on his way out as it seems.
