#1 Interesting Cross-Brand storytelling
Every year, there are only two occasions in WWE when superstars from different brands interact directly - Royal Rumble and Survivor Series. Due to their cross-brand nature, these events are breeding grounds for some of the best storylines.
Cross-brand stories and matches have the potential to catch the fascination of the fans due to their rarity and if executed properly have the ability to work wonders.
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
We are well aware of the cross-brand rivalry between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey that started during the buildup to Survivor Series is set to culminate at Wrestlemania (possibly in the main event). Their feud is currently the hottest thing going on in WWE.
Usually, a superstar once drafted to a particular brand, either Raw or Smackdown, stays with it for a few years. Therefore, there are many different superstar pairings and matches which keep on eluding the fans for years due to the barriers set by brands.
The newly created women's tag team titles will be common to both Raw and Smackdown. Therefore, there is a huge potential for good storytelling. Though it is still left to be seen in which way will WWE handle these titles (whether the champion will move between the brands or will it be the challenger who travels), the inter-brand movement opens some very interesting prospects and it might even be used to ignite singles feuds between superstars of different brands. It all depends on how WWE is willing to use these titles.
