#1 Asuka

Asuka

Asuka is probably the greatest Women's Champion of NXT and she is number one in this list. The Empress of Tomorrow is currently part of SmackDown Live but she has not been on TV for last few weeks. Following WrestleMania this year, Asuka teamed up with Kairi Sane to make a new tag team. The Japanese duo might chase the Women's Tag Team Titles in future.

Asuka was a titanic name before she signed for NXT. She had eleven years of experience before landing in WWE. Due to her popularity in Japan, she was a force to be reckoned with in NXT, and it didn't take her long to become a leading name of the black and gold brand. During Asuka's tenure in NXT, she had remarkable matches with Ember Moon, Bayley, Nikki Cross and many more.

Charlotte Flair to return and wrestle a CURRENT CHAMPION?

Asuka was the longest reigning NXT Women's Champion, as she was undefeated. The former NXT Women's Champion didn't lose the belt and she had to relinquish the title before moving to the main roster. She surpassed Goldberg's winning streak when she was part of NXT. Apart from winning the NXT Women's Championship, she also won the NXT Female Competitor of the Year award twice.
