Regardless of whether you're a wrestling fan or not, chances are, if you've heard of the WWE, you've also heard of The Undertaker. From the Lord of Darkness to the American Badass to The Phenom, Undertaker has captivated fans with his larger than life presence since the very beginning.

22nd March marks the 54th birthday for The Undertaker and in celebration, we have put together a list of the 4 most hilarious Undertaker moments. These moments might not be the defining points of The Deadman's career but were nonetheless highly enjoyable.

More so because they show a rare display of humor from the otherwise stoic and melancholic character who has inspired fear in the hearts of the audience for almost a decade.

#4 Paul Bearer and The Undertaker give gaming tips

A WWE Hall of Famer isn't a John Cena fan. More details HERE

How the superstars managed to complete this segment without breaking down and laughing their heads off is a mystery for the ages.

This might, single-handedly, be the most hilarious segment Paul Bearer and The Undertaker have appeared in. The thing that makes this forgotten gem uproariously comical is how seriously Paul Bearer is trying to sell it. He vociferously tries to sell the game while educating gamers on what buttons to push and what combos to use.

The funniest thing about the segment, hands down, has to be The Undertaker saying Super Nintendo with a straight face. The image of the black-clad Undertaker trying to be menacing and quipping game tips is a comedic event that doesn't happen often as Taker very rarely breaks character.

This tutorial of the old Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo WWF Raw game also features Diesel telling players to keep on clobbering their opponents till their energy gives out.

All in all, while this is a readily forgotten moment in The Deadman's repertoire, it still manages to bring a grin to the viewers face by the sheer campiness of it.

#3 There is 'No Hope With Dope'

WWE's anti-drugs ad campaigns have come a long way. While now the ads are sombre and controlled, this wasn't always the case. The Undertaker's 'There's No Hope With Dope' segments are a clear proof of WWE's well-meaning but misguided attempts at an anti-drugs campaign.

One of these segments had a little girl reading her essay, wearing a school uniform. The essay was nothing to write home about and having her sit in a dark room all by herself makes it even less entertaining.

It is the ending that saves this segment from bombing totally even if for the wrong reasons. The girl looks at the audience and proclaims, 'There’s no hope with dope.' Then, from the shadows, Undertaker appears and repeats the sentiment. It's clear to see that WWE intended this to be a serious and creepy moment but it ends up being so campy, it borders on ridiculous.

Another segment has The Phenom digging a grave while telling the audience they're digging their own graves by doing drugs. This is followed by the infamous catchphrase 'There is no hope with dope'.

These ad campaigns were a perfect example of a right message delivered in a hilariously wrong presentation.

#2 The Undertaker's Royal Rumble massacre

To set the scene, Taker was killing it in the Royal Rumble. He'd made quick work of Rikishi, Goldust, Al Snow, Billy, and the entire Team Xtreme. Next up was the winner of Tough Enough, Maven. Everyone from the commentators to The Undertaker himself had already dismissed his claim, even before he enters the ring.

As he is about to eliminate Maven, the Hardyz reappear trying to take out The Dead Man. They don't accomplish much except providing Maven the opening to hit Taker with a dropkick, sending him crashing over the top rope and out of the Rumble to a huge pop.

Taker wasn't pleased about being taken out by a newbie, especially when said newbie got on the top ropes to celebrate.

The Deadman attacked Maven with a vengeance beating him senseless. The first comic element of this segment is provided when Maven realizes he made a mistake celebrating his accidental win and the look of pure terror on his face when he sees Taker stalking towards the ring.

Just as Taker is escorting his victim out of the ring area, Scotty 2 Hotty's music hits. A perfect example of really, really bad timing. Already annoyed at being unceremoniously eliminated from the Rumble, the sight of Scotty 2 Hotty dancing away on the ramp really pushed Taker's buttons.

So naturally, The Undertaker goes and knocks out an oblivious Scotty 2 Hotty, who has no idea what just went down. The whole segment is a lesson in situational comedy.

The Phenom then proceeds to drag Maven to the snack stand where Maven is tossed into a popcorn machine. While Maven lies beaten and bloody, Undertaker decides to enjoy a handful of popcorn.

The whole segment was a rare comedic treat for the sinister and macabre character of The Undertaker.

#1 The Dead Man rising

SummerSlam featured The Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar in a highly anticipated rematch. The match had the two mammoth personalities clashing and butting heads with each other. The match had its share of violence with Lesnar sending Taker through a table at one point of time.

The hilarity ensued when the two wrestlers lay in the middle of the ring, completely worn out from their gruelling battle. Lesnar started to sit up, leading Taker to counter with his trademark sit-up move.

This prompted Lesnar to break out in an incredulous laugh as if wondering what he had to do to keep Taker down. The highlight, however, was The Undertaker's response. He gave a pretty hysterical laugh mocking and challenging Lesnar in one swift move.

The moment was simultaneously funny and creepy as the audience got a rare glimpse of The Deadman expressing a mocking equivalent of human expression.
