The Undisputed Era has been teasing a split ever since Adam Cole was unable to lift the NXT Championship back at TakeOver as part of WrestleMania weekend. Much like The Shield's split more than five years ago, WWE has been pushing the fact that there is a weak link in The Undisputed Era and Roderick Strong could be that guy.

Strong was unable to defeat Matt Riddle at TakeOver this past weekend, whilst Kyle O'Reilly was injured in his mission to reclaim the Tag Team Championships alongside Bobby Fish. Cole was the only member of the group who walked out of Bridgeport with a Championship, which is definitely going to make the situation much more awkward for the group in the coming weeks since Cole's ego can now run wild in NXT.
