Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa have had quite the rivalry

Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano have been going back and forth for more than two years now and whilst the two former best friends have delivered some of the best matches that NXT has seen in a very long time, there has to be an end to every great feud.

Ciampa and Gargano would have to battle once again if Ciampa returned from injury and his former DIY teammate was the one holding his title, but now a feud between Adam Cole and Ciampa can get underway instead.

If Gargano is set to move to the main roster right now then it will mean that Ciampa will step into the feud with Cole heading into this summer's TakeOver event which would definitely be interesting since Ciampa has been one of NXT's biggest heels over the past few years.
