On Saturday night, Adam Cole's girlfriend Britt Baker was at ringside to watch her boyfriend win the NXT Championship. Baker is one of AEW's fastest rising stars and many believe that her influence could have given Adam Cole enough reason to follow her over to All Elite Wrestling in the coming months.

WWE is aware that there is a huge pull from AEW for many of their wrestlers, but Adam Cole is one of the biggest superstars that they have ever secured and this could have been the company's way of ensuring that Cole didn't head backstage and look to gain his release from the company. Cole is a star in the making in WWE and would be a fantastic acquisition for AEW if given the opportunity.
