In what seems like an afterthought, WWE conveniently moved Andrade back to SmackDown Live only a week after moving him to Raw along with Zelina Vega. Andrade emerged victorious on Raw last week in his first match as he defeated Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor in a non-title match.

While Balor was moved to SmackDown the following night, it will be interesting to see how WWE handles the situation now that Andrade and Balor are on the same brand. With Andrade scoring a win over Balor, we could see him present a case to compete for the title which was not in his sights after his initial move to Raw.
Zelina Vega’s move to SmackDown also further affects Raw’s already struggling women’s roster. Even though Vega did not actively compete in many matches, she was still an interesting addition to the roster and could have been a genuine future prospect for the brand.
