#1 Cesaro
SmackDown not only lost one of its premier tag teams this week but also lost one of its best wrestlers in the process. Raw is the clear winner in this bargain, as the best pound-for-pound wrestler is now in their roster.
Cesaro has been named as the Most Underrated Wrestler in the world a record four times, from 2013 to 2016 by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The reason is his numerous championship wins in several promotions over the years, making him one of the most decorated wrestlers in the industry today.
However, he hasn’t seen the same amount of success in the WWE even though he is a one-time United States Champion and five-times Tag Team Champion.
Cesaro needs to win more singles titles in the company as he is indeed one of the best wrestlers in WWE today, and splitting up with Sheamus could provide him the opportunity and the push that is needed to do so.
Cesaro is easily one of the best prospects to become a future Universal Champion, and he is now on the right brand to compete for that title in the future.
