The card for WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 is taking shape as the build-up to the iconic premium live event comes to a climax. The Men's WarGames Match will be full of action, intrigue, and drama, whereas Gunther and Damian Priest are exploring a different dynamic while being in a heated feud. Meanwhile, Rhea Ripley's return ignited the spark in the Women's WarGames Match buildup, making that bout official as well.

With three matches so far confirmed for the upcoming event, more are expected to be added in the final stretch, given that Triple H has established an unofficial minimum of five matches per PLE. There is no shortage of compelling storylines currently running on RAW and SmackDown, almost all of which are worthy of a spot on a show as big as Survivor Series: WarGames 2024.

Without any further rigamarole, let's explore four matches that could possibly be added to Survivor Series 2024 after the Women's WarGames Match.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

#4. WWE could capitalize on Shinsuke Nakamura's return with a United States Championship match at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024

After months off WWE programming, Shinsuke Nakamura made an impactful return on the November 15, 2024, episode of SmackDown, laying out LA Knight. The reigning United States Champion had successfully defended his title against Berto following which The King of Strong Style launched an attack on him.

This was the latest of the 44-year-old star's returns, many of which have started out promising only to fizzle out within weeks. Triple H and Co. have the chance to capitalize on the Japanese star's momentum with a match on a big stage like Survivor Series: WarGames 2024.

#3. & #2. Either set of men's tag team titles could be defended at a PLE for the first time since WWE WrestleMania XL

WWE's men's tag team division has had arguably the least exciting title scene in recent months. Despite the abundance of talented teams, the titles have mostly been used to advance other storylines in recent months. This is highlighted by the fact that neither set of titles has been defended at a PLE since WrestleMania XL while, for context, the Women's Tag Team Championship has been defended on five events.

The Motor City Machine Guns, which consists of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, are riding high as the reigning WWE Tag Team Champions while The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh have rarely defended the World Tag Team Championship. Both situations justify adding the respective title matches to Survivor Series: WarGames 2024, whether it is to capitalize on current momentum or build it afresh.

#1. Sheamus vs. Ludwig Kaiser vs. Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 would be a "banger!"

Sheamus and Bron Breakker have been at odds over the Intercontinental Championship on WWE RAW for weeks. The two men had many intense segments leading up to a title match on the November 18, 2024, episode of the red brand, only for that clash to be cut short by Ludwig Kaiser. The Imperium member is now in both men's cross-hairs, with a Triple Threat Match seemingly inevitable.

All three men have been excellent throughout 2024, with The Celtic Warrior maintaining his resurgence, Breakker having a tremendous year and Kaiser on the cusp of his arrival as a singles star. What better way to reward their excellence than by showcasing them on a huge PLE like Survivor Series: WarGames 2024?

LA Knight, Carmelo Hayes, and Andrade put on a show for the United States Championship at Crown Jewel 2024, and now, it might be time for Sheamus, Breakker, and Kaiser to do the same with the Intercontinental Championship.
