The 'Show of Shows' is scheduled to take place on 7th April 2019 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. It is the largest and most anticipated PPV of the year but the past WrestleMania events didn't receive positive receptions from the fans. They felt that the show was excessively long and the quality of the matches was substandard. So this year WWE will endeavour to make WrestleMania 35 a success and with the McMahons promising the fans that they will give what they want, the fans have really high expectations from this year's WrestleMania.
Considering the money that the company has made over the last 12 months and the current locker room of WWE which is full of immensely talented superstars, WrestleMania 35 has the potential to be the biggest WrestleMania in WWE's history. WWE ratings are at an all-time low and the fans are unhappy with the product so the company will definitely pull all the stops to make 'The Showcase of The Immortals' an amazing event.
WWE could make the following matches to make Wrestlemania 35 a must-see event:
#4 Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar
A match between 'The Kingslayer' and 'The Beast Incarnate' has been up in the air for a while now. In fact, many rumours are also floating around that Seth Rollins is the favourite to win the Royal Rumble match.
Rollins carried Raw on his back in 2018. He made the show entertaining in the absence of top superstars like Reigns and Strowman, he delivered amazing matches and promos every week and got the fans behind him.
Rollins and Lesnar have an unfinished rivalry and many fans want that rivalry to reach a conclusion. WrestleMania is the perfect time for these superstars to ignite their rivalry once again. Rollins and Lesnar have plenty of history together which could come into play and WWE could also bring in Roman Reigns' Leukemia angle to make this rivalry more personal and exciting.
Brock Lesnar is rumoured to leave WWE after WrestleMania, so this indicates that Rollins will most probably win the Universal Championship from Lesnar at WrestleMania 35 and we can be certain that the fans will love to see Rollins dethrone Lesnar at the 'Grandest Stage Of Them All'.
#3 Demon Finn Balor vs The Undertaker
This is a dream match for a huge number of wrestling fans around the world. Finn Balor is one the best performers in the WWE right now but despite being an amazing performer, the first ever Universal Champion is being misused on Raw.
Balor is an extremely gifted superstar who deserves to be in the main event scene regularly. But during the past year, he was involved in meaningless feuds which diminished his credibility. The Undertaker is one of the few superstars who can help Balor to gain back his credibility.
Balor is the perfect opponent for 'Taker as he is one of the best in-ring performers in WWE right now and he would make The Phenom look as good as he's ever looked. They both are amazing on the mic as well and will definitely cut some extraordinary promos that will make for some compelling television.
With both of them having supernatural gimmicks, this rivalry will definitely be intriguing and will have a mystique around it. If WWE books this feud properly we can be sure that these two performers will create a classic rivalry that the fans will cherish for a long time. Also, Balor recently teased a match against The Deadman. Is this a hint that this match will happen soon? Only time will tell.
#2 Shawn Michaels vs Daniel Bryan
Daniel Bryan vs Shawn Michaels is a fantasy match for countless wrestling fans around the world but they never thought they could see this match due to the early retirement of Michaels from in-ring competition and also due to the fact that Bryan was not cleared to compete in WWE.
But this match could happen now as Bryan is cleared to compete and Michaels came out of retirement at WWE Crown Jewel last year. Michaels wrestled at Crown Jewel after almost 8 years and we all saw that the 'Heartbreak Kid' hasn't lost his touch. He was the MVP of the match between the Brothers Of Destruction and the D Generation X. He was amazing in the ring and it looked like he could still have a couple of good matches.
Daniel Bryan is the ideal opponent for Michaels given his present heel character, he can make Michaels look as great in the ring as he has ever looked. Likewise, the promotional abilities of these 2 men are phenomenal and they can cut some stunning promos and convey some incredible put-downs to one another.
Also according to rumours, WWE is planning to organize a match between these two superstars at the 'Grandest Stage of Them All'. So if this match happens we can be certain that these two prodigies will give their everything and unquestionably tear the house down.
#1 Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair
Considering the events that took place at TLC 2018 and the history between Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, the fans would love to see these three women lock horns against each other and WrestleMania 35 is the perfect stage for this match. It will be amazing to see each women trying to rip each other apart at 'The Grandest Stage Of Them All' in a triple threat match.
The in-ring skills of the women involved are extraordinary and they can definitely create a match which has the potential to be the best match of 2019. The promo skills of the women involved are amazing and the shots they will take at each other and the promos that will be cut by them would definitely make some compelling television before WrestleMania which the WWE desperately needs.
Rousey is currently on Raw, whereas Charlotte and Becky are on SmackDown, so most probably the match will have no title at stake. But even with no title at stake, we can be sure that the crowd will definitely be red hot for this match and the match will be a marvellous one.
