Roman Reigns and AJ Styles have crossed path twice in singles competition. They had an outstanding match at WWE Extreme Rules 2016 where Roman pinned AJ Styles after countering a phenomenal forearm to a spear. The chemistry between these two guys is exceptional.

Although AJ Styles vs Seth Rollins is a much more anticipated dream match, given the situation, AJ Styles vs Roman Reigns will be the best plausible match. The Big Dog is set to defend the Universal Championship against Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar.

However, Brock Lesnar is going back to UFC and Braun Strowman vs AJ Styles does not sound better than Roman Reigns vs AJ Styles. Even Styles is scheduled to defend his title against Samoa Joe. But we all know how the match between Joe and Reigns wound up.

Strowman and Joe can get their title somewhere down the line, but AJ Styles and Roman Reigns must be the respective top champions at the time of Survivor Series.
