For me, Naomi is the most underrated wrestler at the moment. This year did not bring much for her, especially in the second half. She did win the first Wrestlemania Women's Battle Royal, but that was it for her.
After that, she continued to play the babyface and get involved in meaningless bouts with other mid-carders. Her highlight of the year was during the Royal Rumble back in January where she pulled out a ''Kofi Kingston''.
She was tossed out of the Rumble onto a pile of Superstars at ringside and ended up on the ringside barricade, still not having touched the arena floor.
Desperate to stay in the bout, Naomi tightrope-walked along the barricade, commandeered special guest ring announcer’s chair at ringside and propelled herself forward with her feet on the chair and her hands on the floor. However, once she got back in the ring, she was eliminated by Nia Jax.
Well, we all know the in-ring talent she possesses but the management is not using her right. She did have a fair bit of success as Smackdown's women Champion but that was in 2017, this year she just got lost in the crowd. We all expect more than just dancing face-offs with Lana from her.
