Edge may well have been the WWE Superstar that made John Cena the megastar he is today. The 'Rated-R Superstar' was the greatest heel at that time, with his sleazy opportunistic character turning into a perfect foil for John Cena's no nonsense, tough guy character.

The feud began when Edge cashed in his MITB briefcase on Cena. This kicked off an epic rivalry which elevated both superstars into the stratosphere. The crowd hated Edge and adored Cena. Suffice to say, the roof was on fire whenever they clashed.
