WWE often forgets what happened previously and moves on with different story or content, ignoring the previous one. They ignite a feud between two Superstars and continue it for a few week before completely dropping it off and not mentioning it again, while the wrestlers involved move on to a new feud.

Wyatt Family made Brock Lesnar their target and attacked him several times in early 2016 but this story never had an ending, and it was dropped off in between.

Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax are best of friends, but Nia turned on Alexa and they had some tension between them, but they were reunited after a few episodes without any story or reference.

This kind of discontinuity in storylines confuses fans and make them wonder what the actual storyline was supposed to portray.
