While an attack on Shane McMahon may not get Triple H fuming over Batista it is still something significant. Batista invading Smackdown and attacking Shane McMahon will put him on the headlines of WWE once more.

Remember that Triple H is the COO of WWE and he is responsible for dealing with the damages that Batista would make. Attacking Shane McMahon would not only mean that Batista had attacked Triple H's brother in law but it also means that he had taken down Smackdown commissioner.

From a personal as well as a professional standpoint this would be a huge damage for Triple H. Shane McMahon is currently in a tag team alongside The Miz. Batista sneaking on one of the tag team matches and taking out Shane McMahon and the Miz would show him like a true monster he once used to be. Shane can even be given a storyline injury for the feud to gain more momentum.
