Drew McIntyre is expected to be back sooner rather than later
In a report from Sportskeeda's own Tom Colohue, it has been suggested that top Monday Night RAW Superstar Drew McIntyre was reportedly in line for a huge push and was also in contention to win this year's King of the Ring Tournament. However, those plans were eventually scrapped after a last-minute injury to the Scottish Psychopath.

Despite suffering from illness, it has been noted in the report that the former WWE Intercontinental Champion will be returning to in-ring action sooner rather than later. Therefore, with the majority of the main roster stars engaged in feuds with one another, the viable option would be to have McIntyre make his return and engage in a feud with Kane.

Going over a veteran and a multi-time world champion in Kane could lead McIntyre to a bigger picture and could also potentially open a door for a feud against The Undertaker in the near future.
