#1 He is an active supporter of the Cruiserweights
Daniel Bryan is an avid fan of the Cruiserweights, as he has shown on multiple occasions in the past. He is basically one of them, a guy who was touted too small and devoid of charisma to make it in WWE. Bryan's journey until WWE could be comparable to some of the 205 Live roster members, as well as some of the smaller guys on NXT.
He was also a commentator for the Cruiserweight Classic, with the then-SmackDown general manager openly showing his passion for wrestling to the world, as if we ever doubted him. After the final of the tournament, he said "with a heavy heart" that the Cruiserweights would be going to Raw, instead of his show.
Even at a time when nobody wanted any part of 205 Live right after Enzo Amore was fired while being the champion, Bryan took it upon himself to introduce the new general manager of the show to the world, Drake Maverick. He genuinely loves this show and his inclusion in it would certainly make it infinitely better. Will this be the 'career-altering' move that Daniel Bryan is talking about?
