The SummerSlam 2024 Premium Live Event is in the books, and the latest episode of Monday Night RAW featured the build-up to WWE's next major premium live event, Bash in Berlin. The much-anticipated event will take place on August 31, 2024, at the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany.
The reigning World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther, kicked off the show, saying that he was ready to be the face of Monday Night RAW as the new champion. Randy Orton shockingly interrupted him and challenged him to a rematch from their 2024 King of the Ring tournament finals. The Ring General agreed to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against The Viper, and the match was later made official.
Below are four other matches that could take place at WWE Bash in Berlin, as teased on the latest episode of RAW.
#4. Seth Rollins vs. Bronson Reed
Seth Rollins was in high spirits during WWE RAW, eager to finally get his hands on CM Punk after a long wait. However, he was in for a shocking turn of events. As Punk chased Drew McIntyre out of the arena, Rollins was left alone in the ring.
Out of nowhere, Bronson Reed attacked Rollins, delivering not one, not two, but six Tsunami splashes. Fans were stunned as Seth coughed up blood in the middle of the ring while road agents and referees looked helpless. This brutal assault could be WWE's way of keeping The Visionary occupied while the CM Punk-Drew McIntyre storyline unfolds.
A potential match between Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed at Bash in Berlin could be the right move, providing a massive opportunity for the Australian star to showcase his talents at a major premium live event.
#3. Finn Balor & JD McDonagh (c) vs. Sami Zayn & Jey Uso
Sami Zayn lost his Intercontinental Championship to Bron Breakker at SummerSlam 2024. During the latest episode of RAW, Zayn informed Jey Uso that he had talked to General Manager Adam Pearce and secured a rematch against Breakker next week.
Jey Uso was visibly happy for Sami and suggested that after the rematch, they could pursue the tag team titles. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh hold the World Tag Team Championship currently. Given both Jey and Zayn's tumultuous history with The Judgment Day over the past year, a World Tag Team Championship match could potentially be added to the Bash in Berlin card.
#2. CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre II at WWE Bash in Berlin
Drew McIntyre finally got his revenge against CM Punk at SummerSlam 2024, pinning his arch-rival, with Seth Rollins counting the one, two, three. Punk addressed his loss on RAW, stating that he was someone who gets up when knocked down.
He referenced McIntyre's promise to beat him until he was buried in the dirt. The Second City Saint said that he was still able to fight and called out McIntyre for Round Two. While Drew declined the fight on RAW, there is a strong possibility that WWE will book a rematch at Bash in Berlin.
#1. Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan vs. Damian Priest & Rhea Ripley
SummerSlam 2024 will forever be known for the implosion of The Judgment Day. After Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor cost Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest their respective world title matches at The Biggest Party of The Summer, The Prince revealed on RAW the new version of The Judgment Day, with Liv Morgan now officially part of the group.
Priest and Ripley were furious and made a strong statement during RAW by taking out JD McDonagh. There is a high possibility that fans could see a mixed tag team match at Bash in Berlin with Liv Morgan and Dirty Dom teaming up against Mami and The Archer of Infamy, popularly known as the Terror Twins.
