As the buildup to WWE Money In The Bank 2024 nears completion, the card looks final. In the two singles bouts of the night, Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker hope to dethrone Damian Priest and Sami Zayn as the World Heavyweight and Intercontinental champions, respectively. Elsewhere, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens take on The Bloodline in a six-man tag team match.
As always, however, the night's main attraction will be the two iconic ladder matches, after which the event is named. Six men and six women will go to Toronto hoping to win a guaranteed title shot at any time over the next 12 months. Both match lineups are complete, with Drew McIntyre and Zoey Stark claiming the final spots.
Some booking choices were controversial, with many fans expressing disappointment over certain stars not qualifying. Could Triple H and his team decide to make some last-minute additions to the ladder matches?
Let's take a look at four superstars who could be the final entrant into the 2024 WWE men's Money in the Bank ladder match
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
#4: Ilja Dragunov could set himself on the path to a dream match with Gunther by entering the MITB ladder match
Ilja Dragunov was the first man to pin Gunther in WWE, ending the latter's record 871-day reign as NXT UK champion. Their matches on the brand have been hailed as some of the best in the company's history, leaving fans hungry for a rematch. As a result, this has been a dream match for many since The Mad Dragon was drafted to the main roster.
Most fans would love to see the rematch at August's Bash In Berlin PLE, which could affect the decision-making for Money in the Bank and Summerslam. With The Ring General as the favorite to walk out of The Biggest Party of the Summer as a world champion, Unbesiegbar being a last-minute entrant in the ladder match, winning the contract and cashing in in Berlin would be a good move.
#3: AJ Styles could continue his desperate search for one final WWE World Title as the final MITB entrant
AJ Styles has been on a crusade to end his WWE career with a bang for the past few months. The Phenomenal One has cut a desperate figure, repeatedly begging Nick Aldis for world title opportunities. He received two shots at Cody Rhodes' Undisputed WWE Championship, losing both times.
What better way for a desperate man to earn a world title opportunity than grabbing a last-minute spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match? As one of the company's veteran high-flying legends, he would bring a compelling story and great star power to the 2024 edition.
#2: Tama Tonga could enter the Money in the Bank ladder match by orders of the new Tribal Chief
Solo Sikoa made an emphatic statement during the Bloodline Acknowledgement Ceremony on WWE SmackDown. After being acknowledged by Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and his newest recruit, Jacob Fatu, the Street Champ demanded Paul Heyman do the same. When The Wiseman refused, Sikoa and Co. viciously attacked him, causing him to be stretchered out of the arena.
Now that the 31-year-old is a fully-fledged Tribal Chief, the world awaits his next step. This could entail ordering Tama Tonga to bring the MITB contract into The Bloodline. The Right Hand Man would then hand over his opportunity, delivering a world title shot to his leader on a silver platter. It wouldn't be the first time the contract changes hands after being won.
Alternatively, he could send his most trusted lieutenant to cost Jey Uso the match, sending yet another message to his family. This would establish a potential alliance between Main Event Jey and Roman Reigns to exact revenge on Sikoa. With the faction having a one-man advantage in their six-man tag match in Toronto, they could spare a member to chase the iconic contract.
#1: Finn Balor is a huge fan favorite to win the 2024 WWE Men's Money In The Bank match
Coming out of Clash at the Castle, Finn Balor was one of the WWE Universe's favorites to become Mr. Money In The Bank 2024. Many fans were excited to witness how The Prince potentially winning the contract would affect his dynamic with World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest.
Priest won the briefcase in 2022 while Balor was chasing the title, which caused simmering tension between the duo that they haven't fully recovered from. Should the tables be turned, the faction could reach a tipping point, triggering a babyface turn for The Punishment. It would also provide Balor with the chance at long-deserved world title redemption after his Universal Championship reign ended in two days.
The first step towards this is making the 42-year-old a last-minute entrant into the ladder match in Toronto.
