As previously mentioned, it has been reported that WWE does want to have Ronda Rousey defend the Raw Women's Championship against Nikki Bella at the Evolution show, which, judging from the response from the SummerSlam crowd, won't be a popular decision with the fans. But, in their mind, it's the biggest possible match they can do aside from Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair, which will likely be the main event of next year's WrestleMania show.
But, for now, we're going to have to deal with Rousey vs. Nikki Bella, the only question is: when will they finally kick off the angle? Will they do it prior to, at, or after the upcoming Hell in a Cell pay-per-view? Obviously no one knows, with the exception of those within WWE, but there is a chance that they could just not have Ronda defend the title at HIAC, with the idea that her first title defense will be so big that they don't want to waste it on a "B-show."
If they do decide to keep Rousey off of the Hell in a Cell show, then I could definitely see them kicking off the angle against Nikki Bella at some point in the near future, and perhaps on the next Raw show.
