WWE's women's division is completely different today than it was 10 years ago. Now, the main roster has six titles for women to pursue, including the Women's Speed Championship. Female stars headline television shows and premium live events without anyone raising a brow.
Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, Rhea Ripley, Bayley, Nia Jax, and Naomi are some of the most prominent figures across RAW and SmackDown. One major name who has been absent for quite some time is Becky Lynch. The Man hasn't been seen at a World Wrestling Entertainment event since losing a rematch against Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship on RAW.
Yesterday, Becky Lynch appeared at the company's special Netflix event and photos have even begun to circulate online. This means her return is coming sooner rather than later. This article will look at four predictions for Lynch's WWE return.

#4 Her WWE return match will be in the Women's Royal Rumble match
There are several shows where Becky Lynch could return, but the most likely spot will be on the Netflix debut edition of WWE Monday Night RAW on January 6. With that said, it might not be where her return match happens.
The Man could appear on RAW to announce her return and declare her intentions to regain the Women's World Championship. From there, Big Time Becks might tell the WWE Universe that she is entering the Women's Royal Rumble match.
This would be a big way to add hype to the stadium event, and it would help Lynch ease back into in-ring action. Instead of wrestling a demanding singles match, she could have a shorter stay or at least a less intense one inside the annual battle royal.
#3 Becky Lynch will unite with Rhea Ripley one time to take out Liv Morgan
Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley had a storied rivalry in the first quarter of 2024. The two WWE stars traded barbs, engaged in brawls, and locked horns at WrestleMania. In the end, Ripley stood tall.
After the feud ended, the two didn't really interact much, but now they have a mutual enemy in Liv Morgan. The Women's World Champion has been routinely talking trash about both women. Moreover, Dominik Mysterio helped The Miracle Kid defeat both stars at various points on WWE programming.
Morgan now has a big backup in Raquel Rodriguez. To combat this, Becky Lynch will likely align with The Eradicator to take down Liv Morgan. The two could team up to face Morgan and Raquel at a big premium live event or at a Saturday Night's Main Event.
#2 She will form a mentor-mentee tag team with Lyra Valkyria
Once she's done uniting with Rhea Ripley for one match only, Becky's attention will likely shift to another WWE RAW star: Lyra Valkyria. The Irishwoman was called up to the main roster earlier this year.
Notably, Lyra looks up to Becky and has been a mentee of sorts to The Man in the past. In fact, they even had an epic match on WWE NXT, with Becky "passing the torch" to the incredibly talented Valkyria.
Now that Lyra and Becky are both going to be on RAW at the same time, their relationship can truly blossom. Who knows, they might even team up and win the Women's Tag Team Title together, which could be a similar dynamic to that of Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.
#1 Becky will eventually betray Lyra and feud with Valkyria
While the two uniting will create many great moments and elevate Lyra Valkyria to new heights in WWE, it won't end with them simply being happy teammates. Instead, a betrayal will come.
Becky Lynch will eventually turn on Lyra. This could happen after they lose the WWE Women's Tag Team Title. Otherwise, The Man might grow tired of sharing the spotlight with Lyra, and it will lead to a shocking heel turn.
From there, Becky and Lyra will have a series of great matches across major shows and television. In the end, the heel turn will serve as a vehicle to catapult Lyra to new heights as a singles star. It will also open Becky up to new matches with various babyfaces.
