A lot has happened in WWE recently. From the return of the poster boy of WWE, Roman Reigns to The Animal teasing a potential feud with The Game and the COO of the company, Triple H, things have been changing thick and fast in WWE.
Also, with the underdogs like Kofi Kingston and Finn Balor finally getting a much-deserved chance to shine, it would not be wrong to say that WWE has started paying attention to what the fans want.
Given the recent turn of events WWE has well and truly ended the month of February on a very high note, however, with the highlight of the event, WrestleMania 35 just around the corner, WWE needs to continue with the good work that they have been doing recently.
While the month of February featured Elimination Chamber, WWE Fastlane is scheduled for March 10. Also, with WrestleMania 35 being the next stop after Fastlane 2019, this month will feature WWE not only finalizing the epic match card for the event but also hype and build up to the epic saga.
While the recent turn of events has left the Internet buzzing with permutation and combinations, we take a look at 4 predictions for WWE in this month of March.
#4 The Dean Ambrose fiasco comes out to be a mere creative work as he resigns from WWE
Well, if you have been living under a rock and don't know a thing about all the fiasco surrounding Dean Ambrose then let me put it out for you. Dean Ambrose is expected to leave the WWE after the expiration of his contract with WWE this April. And even though WWE confirmed the same a while ago, it might prove to be a mere Creative work. Well, I have my reasons.
There have been reports suggesting that in order to push Ambrose and have him gain sympathy and momentum this recent turn of events is just a work of Creative to grab a few eyeballs. However, according to the latest report, Ambrose has been listed in the European tour of WWE for May and might already have resigned a new deal with WWE.
Thus, WWE might go on to confirm the same as we dive deep into this month.
#3 Bray Wyatt and Sami Zayn make their much-awaited return to the WWE ring
While the rumours and speculations of a potential return of the architect of the Wyatt Family, Bray Wyatt has been making rounds all over the Internet for quite some time now, Sami Zayn's return rumours have picked up the pace ever since his former friend Kevin Owens made his shocking return on SmackDown this week.
However, given we are edging closer and closer to WrestleMania 35 with each passing day, it might not take very long before WWE introduces the duo back.
WWE could have the duo make their shocking return on March 10 at Fastlane or on the night following at Raw to add that element of surprise to the event.
This would also give WWE an ample amount of time to engage the duo in major feuds for 'Mania 35.
All in all, the potential return of two high profile names on the WWE roster might not take long.
#2 The WWE Championship match between Kevin Owens and Daniel Bryan ends in controversial fashion
After Vince McMahon replaced Kofi Kingston due to unknown reasons, Daniel Bryan will now defend his WWE Championship against Kevin Owens on March 10 at Fastlane. However, don't expect things to go smoothly in what could possibly be the main event of the show.
Yes, WWE could have Eric Rowan attack a dominating Kevin Owens to award him a win via disqualification only for Kofi to show up to even the odds. This could then lay down the breadcrumbs for a mouth-watering triple threat matchup for WrestleMania 35.
While this would help in generating a considerable amount of heat for Daniel Bryan, this would also not undermine Kevin Owens.
Thus, a blockbuster triple threat match for The Show of Shows could be in the makings on March 10.
#1 John Cena returns at the eleventh hour to get added in the match card for WrestleMania 35
John Cena has been off WWE TV after he got injured (scripted) at the hands of Drew McIntyre earlier this year. While WWE has been playing the scripted angle as an apt explanation for his absence, Cena has been busy shooting for his next movie.
However, he might just return in the nick of time to feature in a match on April 7. Also, on another note, the recent reports have been suggesting that WWE has been working on his potential opponent for the Greatest event of the year.
While WWE had Lars Sullivan vs John Cena for 'Mania 35 in their plans earlier, things did not turn out on expected terms as Lars suffered a nervous breakdown in January and has been off WWE TV ever since.
Although a match with McIntyre looks on the cards, it would be interesting to see what does WWE have in store for Mr Hustle Loyalty and Respect for 'Mania 35.
