She Would Become the Dolph Ziggler of the Women's Division
What I mean by this statement is that she would become known as someone who will never be pushed in a meaningful way. When it looks like something is finally happening, it just ends. This happened to Ziggler back in 2014 after Survivor Series, in 2016 after beating the Miz at No Mercy, and in 2017 after beating Baron Corbin and Bobby Roode for the United States Championship. Nothing ever happened, he just disappeared.
If Becky Lynch loses to Carmella, eventually people will just stop caring about her altogether. When it looks like she's about to do something important, such as become Women's Champion or win Money in the Bank, for example, then people will just tune out because they assume that it will go nowhere.
