The last time wrestling fans witnessed Brock Lesnar compete in WWE was at SummerSlam 2023, where he suffered a defeat to Cody Rhodes. Since the conclusion of this match, The Beast Incarnate has not made a single appearance on the company's programming.

In Lesnar's absence, many wrestling fans are rallying behind the former UFC star to come back. Many believe that, based on the current scenario, Lesnar's return to the Stamford-based promotion would be perfect as he will be able to indulge in some mega rivalries.

Based on how things are in WWE, Lesnar must not return to the promotion this year. In this article, we will look at four reasons why his return should not take place in 2024.

Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.

#4 Brock Lesnar won't be able to face Gunther this year

When Brock Lesnar was rumored to return in early 2024, rumors suggested he would face Gunther, who was the Intercontinental Champion at that time. While a match against the Austrian was possible then, locking horns with The Ring General right now won't be possible for Lesnar.

Currently, the Imperium leader's hands are full on RAW. First, The Ring General will be facing Cody Rhodes for the Crown Jewel Championship, after which Goldberg will likely step up to him. Once that's done, the World Heavyweight Champion will also have a potential feud with Damian Priest. This means Lesnar might not be able to face RAW's top titleholder this year.

#3 He might not work with other superstars

When it comes to Brock Lesnar, it's hard to imagine him facing anyone apart from a top name or a world champion. Based on the current scenario, it does not seem like many superstars are ready for a rivalry against Lesnar, and nor would he indulge in a feud with a mid-card act.

While it's true that Lesnar wrestled Omos, who was not a big name at WrestleMania, The Beast Incarnate seemingly did it only because Vince McMahon wanted him to. Hence, it's hard to see Lesnar feud with someone who does not have a lot to offer.

#2 Royal Rumble is the perfect place for Brock Lesnar to return

Whenever Lesnar has returned to WWE, he has always received the biggest pops. That said, it would make sense for the veteran to show up at Royal Rumble 2025. At the event, the Canadian could make his much-awaited comeback and potentially win the annual 30-man bout.

A scenario like this would garner a huge pop from the WWE Universe, which would not only be beneficial for Lesnar but also for the promotion. Also, Lesnar's potential return at Royal Rumble can overshadow other returns that might take place at the event.

#1 WrestleMania 41 is ideal for Brock Lesnar

Earlier, when Lesnar was rumored to face Gunther, the latter was the Intercontinental Champion. However, this time, the scenario is different, as Gunther is the World Heavyweight Champion. Given the stakes involved, it would only make sense for Gunther vs. Lesnar to happen at WrestleMania 41.

Hence, it would not make much sense for The Beast Incarnate to return before WrestleMania season. If he does make his return too soon, it would only lead to the storyline being dragged, which won't be enjoyable.
