WWE Monday Night RAW aired yesterday on the USA Network and it was a crazy show. Seth Rollins made his shocking return to television in the opening segment of the night and the sinister Wyatt Sicks made their official debut to close out the show.

The program was one of the most memorable this year and almost every segment was chaotic or furthered a big feud. The Intercontinental Championship picture, for example, became far more chaotic, thanks to new stars stepping up and attempting to challenge Sami Zayn for the gold.

Sheamus and Bron Breakker were the first, which led to a war of words and then a match between the duo. Before a winner and new number one contender could be decided, however, Ludwig Kaiser showed up and attacked Sheamus. This led to even more chaos post-match.

Now, it isn't clear which superstar will battle Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship. Instead of it being any one man, however, it could, and should, be a Fatal Four-Way Match. This article will break down a handful of reasons why Sami clashing with all three men may be the right move.

Below are four reasons why Sami Zayn should defend his title in a Fatal Four-Way following the WWE RAW incident.

#4. Sheamus' dream is to be the Intercontinental Champion

Sheamus has done almost everything there is to do in World Wrestling Entertainment. He's a multi-time world champion who has held the WWE Title and the previous iteration of the World Heavyweight Championship. He's also held the United States Title and tag team gold.

One thing the former King of the Ring and Royal Rumble winner hasn't done yet, however, is win the prized Intercontinental Championship. The veteran has made it clear that winning the WWE title is his number one goal before he hangs it up.

For that reason alone, Sheamus should be involved in whatever the Intercontinental Championship picture is. Even if he didn't earn the right to be number one contender, he should be involved in a potential Fatal Four-Way Match.

#3. No real winner was decided on WWE RAW

Sheamus did not win the match on WWE Monday Night RAW to earn an Intercontinental Championship match with Sami Zayn. With that being said, Bron Breakker didn't really win the bout either.

Their singles match was interrupted by interference from Ludwig Kaiser. This led to a brawl and all three stars fighting. Even Sami Zayn got into a bit of a shoving battle with Bron Breakker by the end of the RAW segment.

Given that no winner was actually decided, it would make sense for both Sheamus and Bron Breakker to advance and fight Sami. At the same time, Ludwig Kaiser being left out would be strange, especially since he recently defeated The Celtic Warrior. A Fatal Four-Way Match just makes perfect sense.

#2. Ludwig Kaiser would continue to be elevated

Ludwig Kaiser has been part of the Imperium faction in WWE for the majority of his time in the company. He has, at times, been united with Giovanni Vinci, Alexander Wolfe, and The Ring General himself, Gunther.

Despite spending the bulk of his career in WWE as a member of a stable or tag team, he has often been best described as a lackey. That has been changing under Triple H, however, and he's beginning to stand out on his own.

If World Wrestling Entertainment is dedicated to pushing Ludwig as a solo star and want him to continue being elevated over the coming months, this is a great opportunity. Ludwig being in there with Sheamus, Bron Breakker, and Sami Zayn will make Kaiser a significantly bigger name in the eyes of many. Especially if the four clash in a big time bout at a premium live event.

#1. Sami Zayn could lose his title without having to be pinned

The final reason why it may be a wise idea for Triple H and WWE to book a Fatal Four-Way for the coveted Intercontinental Championship comes down to the current champion. Sami Zayn won the title at WrestleMania 40 and has held the gold ever since, but he likely won't keep the belt forever.

Given that Sami is a popular babyface, WWE and Triple H may not want The Underdog From The Underground to simply lose his title fair and square. In fact, given that Sami could move up to the World Heavyweight Championship picture, they might not want him being pinned or made to submit, period.

If the goal is to potentially move Sami up to the world title picture, having him lose the title in a Fatal Four-Way will keep Zayn strong. Bron Breakker vs. Ludwig Kaiser vs. Sheamus vs. Sami Zayn could be the perfect way to shift the title to another name if Ludwig pins Sheamus or if Bron gets the fall over Kaiser.
