With Raw & SmackDown Live set to be on different networks starting from October, WWE could face some difficult times with FOX & USA over the booking of the champions of the respective brands. The best way to overcome this could be to unify the WWE & Universal Championships.

WWE teased the possibility of this happening by having Becky Lynch winning both Raw & SmackDown Women's titles at WrestleMania and when Kofi Kingston & Seth Rollins competed for both WWE & Universal titles the next night on Raw.
Having one champion for both shows would rid them of the trouble being in the middle of the competition between USA & FOX. If WWE decides to unify the titles, it could happen at Survivor Series. With Roman Reigns back in the title hunt on this week's Raw, we could see him winning the WWE title soon to start a feud with Lesnar.
