4 reasons why Seth Rollins needs to turn heel on WWE RAW

Seth Rollins is a former World Heavyweight Champion on WWE RAW but has been going through some struggles as of late. The veteran lost to Bronson Reed on the November 11 edition of RAW thanks to interference from The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa.

The Visionary did not compete at Survivor Series last month after refusing to team up with Roman Reigns. CM Punk joined forces with The Head of the Table and the OG Bloodline to pick up a victory in the Men's WarGames Match at the premium live event. Rollins confronted Punk last Monday night on RAW, and the two stars brawled before Jey Uso and Sami Zayn came out to separate them.

Listed below are four reasons why Seth Rollins needs to turn heel on RAW.

#4. Seth Rollins is at his best on WWE television when he is a heel

Seth Rollins is currently a babyface on WWE RAW, but that could change in the weeks ahead. The former World Heavyweight Champion has excelled as a heel in the past, and the company could be planning on making him a bad guy once again.

Wrestling fans have gotten behind CM Punk, and he is one of the biggest babyfaces on the roster. Rollins could make it his mission to stop Punk from capturing a title during his return to WWE and could turn heel in a rivalry with the 46-year-old on RAW.

#3. Rollins has failed to get back in the title picture

Seth Rollins captured the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions 2023 by defeating AJ Styles. He had an impressive reign with the title before losing it to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania XL. However, The Scottish Warrior lost the title a few minutes later when Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract.

The RAW star has not challenged for the title since his loss to Damian Priest at Money in the Bank 2024. Rollins may decide to solely focus on himself moving forward, and turn heel so he can do whatever it takes to make it back to the top of the card.

#2. Rollins could resent WWE fans for accepting Roman Reigns as a babyface

Roman Reigns was one of the most despised stars in the company during his historic run as Undisputed WWE Champion. The Original Tribal Chief lost the title to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL and went on a lengthy hiatus before returning at SummerSlam to attack Solo Sikoa.

Wrestling fans have seemingly completely forgiven Reigns for everything he did wrong during his time as champion. Seth Rollins could be livid with fans for accepting the OTC as a babyface and decide to target his former stablemate in The Shield.

#1. Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch could form a power couple on RAW

Seth Rollins is married to wildly popular WWE star Becky Lynch in real life. The Man has not been seen on RAW since her loss to Women's World Champion Liv Morgan on May 27.

The Irish-born star could return in the weeks ahead and form an alliance with her husband on the red brand. Rollins and Lynch could use their star power to get ahead on WWE RAW and may become insufferable to wrestling fans. However, the heel turn would be worth it for both stars if they could help each other become champions once again.
