It all started a little over a year ago when Dave Meltzer tweeted saying that no one except for WWE can sell out a venue. Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks took that challenge and went with it.
A year later, the trio has their show ready and it sold out in barely an hour. The show has the wrestling fans over the world buzzing. Everyone wants in on the event and those who are involved are some of the best on the independent scene today.
Let's take a look at some things you should be excited about for this historic event.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
#1 Starrcast
Besides the event itself, there will also be a convention taking place during the weekend. Starting on August 30th and running through September 2nd, there will legends from the past and the present that will be there.
The talent that will be there will include the likes of Colt Cabana, X-Pac, DDP and the Outsiders (Hall & Nash). CM Punk will also be there hosting a meet and greet for Pro Wrestling Tees. Just by those names alone, fans everywhere will be excited about the event.
It isn't just wrestlers that will be there. Announcements have confirmed that Comedian Ron Funches and ''Home Alone'' Star Macaulay Culkin will be in attendance as well.
#2 The Talent
Over the last few weeks, wrestlers have been announced for this event. Obviously, the likes of the Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and Cody Rhodes will be in attendance. They aren't the only high-level talent that will be there.
IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada will be wrestling. You will also get to see Pentagon Jr, Fenix, Tessa Blanchard, Joey Janela and Bullet Club members Marty Scrull and Hangman Page to name a few.
During the official press conference that happened recently, Rey Mysterio was announced to be wrestling. The talent gets better and better with every announcement.
#3 The Location
The ''All In'' event will be taking place in Chicago, Illinois. From events in the past, Chicago is definitely a wrestling city and is a perfect choice for this show.
The crowd that shows up to any wrestling event in Chicago is some of the best you'll ever see and hear. If you want a perfect example of how the crowd is, then revisit Money in the Bank 2011.
The crowd was on fire that night and got even better when its hometown hero CM Punk came out in the main event. The fans were chanting his name for days and were very happy when he won. Speaking of CM Punk...
#4 CM Punk
For the first time since he left WWE in 2014, the man known as CM Punk will be making his first wrestling appearance. As previously stated, he will be doing a meet and greet for Pro Wrestling Tees. He could make an appearance at the show as well.
There's a high chance that if he does make some kind of appearance at the show, it'll be for a promo or maybe even a run in. It's doubtful he'll wrestle at the event.
Having a name like CM Punk showing up at the event will draw fans from every which way. September 1st is the date to remember and it'll be a memorable event for fans and wrestlers.
