WWE Opinion: 3 Reasons Why Braun Strowman Should Turn On Seth Rollins

WWE pulled a swerve last Monday night on RAW and crowned new Tag Team Champions. When everyone waited for a bout between AJ Styles and Braun Strowman for the United States Championship, WWE did the unexpected.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson cost The Monster Among Men the United States title match when he was closing in on victory against The Phenomenal One. They even planned to beat him down post match, but WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins made the save for Strowman, thus returning the favor Strowman did to him a week before that.

Rollins' interruption led to him teaming up with Strowman to take on The Good Brothers for the RAW Tag Team Championship in the main event. Surprisingly, the unlikely duo won the Tag titles. However, if you know WWE history the team of Rollins and Strowman probably won't last long.

In this article, let's take a look at 3 reasons why Braun Strowman should turn on Seth Rollins.

#3 To start his feud against Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins doesn't have a proper feud going on for the Universal title right now, and his next opponent is highly rumored to be Strowman. It looks like WWE is taking a sufficient amount of time to build up the Rollins vs. Strowman feud, which is a good thing.

Since both of them are babyfaces, WWE is going with one of their traditional ways to start a feud between two face wrestlers, which is to pair them up. We've seen the same in the past during feuds between The Undertaker and Stone Cold and Shawn Michaels and John Cena.

Rollins and Strowman have already won the RAW Tag Team titles. It's clear that in the near future they'll implode because of not being on the same page, thus leading to a Rollins vs. Strowman match in the future.

They're rumored to face off at the Clash Of Champions pay-per-view, so we can expect them to implode in the coming weeks. Moreover, this will lead to a heel turn of one of the two wrestlers, which is most likely going to be Braun Strowman. Strowman and Rollins will most probably lose the titles which will develop a sense of hatred between the two, leading to their rumored matchup in the future.

#2 Braun is really unlikable (in a good way) as a heel

Braun Strowman proved at the start of his career that he can be a fantastic heel. One of the most significant reasons to turn Strowman heel is the simple fact that he is too good at it.

The Monster Among Men has everything it needs to be a bad guy. He's a decent worker on the mic and can cut cheesy promos to annoy the crowd. Strowman can even work as a meaner heel on the mic. He is a big, scary, bearded monster.

Not only does his appearance help him to be the bad guy, but his in-ring work also helps him. Strowman is a very dominant force inside the squared circle. He's a raging bull with unbelievable speed, who runs through his opponents like a bullet train.

There's no doubt that whenever he steps inside the ring his opponents feel threatened by his physically imposing aura. Strowman's wrestling style is scary. You never know when he'll rip apart his opponents limbs by the impressive mixture of his power and speed.

Braun Strowman hasn't destroyed lately. Bringing back his heel persona will in turn bring back the destructive Monster Among Men, which actually got him over in the first place.

#1 It will bring a much-needed character change

The Destructive Strowman

The Monster Among Men is one of the most over wrestlers in WWE right now. However, he hasn't been doing the things a monster does because of having to play the good guy. Turning heel will bring out Strowman's evil side, and allow him to go on a path of destruction, which actually suits a monster.

Ever since his feud with Roman Reigns last year, Strowman has been stuck in the mid-card. The WWE Universe was really supportive of him last year, and wanted him to walk out of SummerSlam 2018 as the Universal Champion. This year, he was not even part of 'The Biggest Party of the Summer'.

The first ever Greatest Royal Rumble winner was arguably the most over wrestler in WWE last year, but the company dropped the ball with him as a babyface, turning him heel against Roman Reigns last summer. He turned face once again after a while, but his current run hasn't been as successful as the first one.

While his face character is beloved by the fans, it is a bit stale and redundant. There's nothing all that great about him as a face, outside of his in-ring performances.

Now the only thing WWE can do to freshen up his character is to turn him heel again. In addition, his heel run should be long this time.
