Shane McMahon has turned into a seriously hated heel in the last couple of months. Not long ago was he a fan-favorite, but his feud with The Miz has seen him become a huge heel.

Recently, it looks like he has been building a heel faction of sorts with all the heels on SmackDown. We saw him teaming up with Elias and Drew McIntyre to take out Roman Reigns, and his recent actions look like he is also favoring these two.

Could we see a heel faction led by Shane rule the scene of SmackDown in the coming months?

The heel-face dynamic is one of the basics of pro-wrestling. No matter how advanced today's pro-wrestling world becomes, the balance between heels and faces will always be there to run the show.

All the current champions on SmackDown - Kofi Kingston: WWE Champion, Becky Lynch: SmackDown Women's Champ, and Finn Balor: Intercontinental Champion, are faces. Hence, giving the Tag Team Championships to a heel team makes perfect sense. And which heel team would be better than the former Planet's Champ and his associate.
